You‘re A Man Of Many Parts, Joseph Tegbe Remembers Late Ajimobi A Year After Death

An Oyo All Progressives Congress ( APC ) chieftain, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has joined family, associates, party leaders, members and people of the state to mark the first year remembrance of the immediate past governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Adéyemí Ajimobi.

Tegbe, who was one of Oyo APC party governorship aspirant in the last election described the late governor, Ajimobi as a courageous leader, who had strong feelings, beliefs about the development of his dear state, said indigenes and residents of Oyo state will continue to remember him for been the architect of modern Oyo state

“ For some of us who experienced your many sides, the gap created by your loss is a hard one to fill.

“ You were eloquent, intelligent, witty, thorough, caring, passionate and determined about the development of Oyo State. The people of the State will never forget your great strides and accomplishments in infrastructural development, environmental enhancement, security and serenity of the State.

“ Today, we remember you as an extraordinary man of grit and tenacity. A courageous man who kept no sacred cows.

“ Keep Resting, our Leader. Your Legacy lives on.” Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe wrote.

Late Ajimobi on 19 June 2020, Ajimobi was admitted to First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital in Lagos after slipping into a coma following COVID-19 complications. He was declared dead on 25 June 2020.
