Xmas: Oyo Lawmaker, Mogaji Akinajo Rejoices With Christians, Olubadan, Ibadan Indigenes, Celebrates Makinde On Birthday
Lawmaker representing Ibadan Northeast Constituency 1 at Oyo state house of Assembly, Hon. Mogaji Olamide Akinajo has admonished Christians to be their brothers’ keepers in words and deeds.
The lawmaker made the statement in a Christmas message made available to the media in Ibadan on Christmas Eve. Mogaji Akinajo rejoiced with Christians on this year’s celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
He noted that it is very appropriate for believers to reflect on the love of God aptly espoused in the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ.
“We must also rededicate ourselves to the ennobling virtues of faith in God, love for one another, honesty and peaceful coexistence. It is time to make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily lives,” Mogaji Akinajo stated.
The lawmaker also rejoiced with the Olubadan of Ibadanland who also had witness another Xmas with people of his Ibadanland, while greeting Olubadan, Sons and daughters of Ibadanland a merry Christmas and Prosperity, he noted that Ibadanland has continued to witness development across all spheres.
The Oyo lawmaker also sent a birthday greetings to the executive governor of OYO state, Seyi Makinde described him as an exemplary leader and role model for youth and young politicians.
According to Akinajo “ I’m glad to be part of this occasion to celebrate a great man, role model, a wonderful and worthy leader and a true man of the people and lover of the masses, governor Seyi Makinde on his birthday.”
Akinajo while celebrating governor Makinde on his 54th birthday, he prayed to God to continue to give the governor a good health and knowledge so as to continue to overcome challenges confronting the people of the state in order to pave way for greater development in all sectors of the economy.
