We Are Fully In ZLP With Ladoja, Ibarapa Central, North Leaders, Members Deny Defection To PDP
Zenith Labour Party Leaders and Members in Ibarapa Central and North of Oyo state has denied the spreading political story, that leaders and members of the party has defected to People’s Democratic Party in Ibarapaland.
Hon. Rasidi Babarinde who made the denial release on behalf of leaders and members of the ZLP in Ibarapa Central and North, said the party federal house of Representative Candidate in the last election, Dr Adebayo Adepoju solely decamped to PDP based on what he thought it is good for himself and his decision only covered his political status, since as a Nigerian, he has freedom to associate with any group/political party of his choice.
The Party used the released to reiterate their commitment and unflinching supports to the leadership of Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladola and other Chieftains of who are still political stable in the party.
The release reads : The attention of the timing members and leaders of the ZLP Ibarapa Central and North had been called to a story going round that all ZLP members in these two local governments have joined the PDP.
This is far from the truth and fact. ZLP members in the Ibarapa Central and North is very intact though Dr Adebayo Adepoju the ZLP candidate in the last election called a meeting in his Igboora home on Sunday where he announced his decision to go back to the PDP.
Dr Bayo Adepoju as a Nigerian is free to associate with any group/political party of His choice but cannot force others against their choice.
We majority members of the ZLP in Ibarapa Central and North who are the foundation members of the party and loyalists of our Leader High Chief Rasidi Ladoja and other leaders are fully remain in the party until our Leader High Chief Ladoja give us further directive.
