Radio Nigeria Honours Amofin Beulah Adeoye as 2025 Philanthropist of the Year
Amofin Adeoye Pledges to Continue Touching Lives Through Beulah Adeoye Foundation
Amofin Beulah Adeoye, President of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, has been honoured with the Philanthropist of the Year 2025 Award by the management of Radio Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter.
The legal icon received the prestigious award from Nigeria’s first broadcast corporation in recognition of his outstanding philanthropic gestures across various sectors, particularly at the grassroots level in Oyo State.
Through the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, Amofin Adeoye has initiated numerous life-changing programmes — including scholarships for students, youth and women empowerment, and several community development projects that have positively impacted residents of Oyo State.
Beneficiaries of Amofin Adeoye’s philanthropic activities thronged the premises of Radio Nigeria to share in his joy and celebrate his recognition by the media organization renowned for informing, educating, and entertaining the public.
The award was presented by the Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Mr. Dominic Mokikan, while Emperor Imoyosola Adetoro JP and Mrs. Funmilayo Ilesanmi anchored the event.
The atmosphere was lively, with smiling faces from youth groups and women’s organizations who came to honour the philanthropist.
In his appreciation speech, the elated Amofin Adeoye expressed gratitude to the management and staff of FRCN for the honour and for their efforts in monitoring the activities of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation. He explained that the Foundation was established years ago to assist people and uplift the downtrodden and forgotten members of society.
He commended Radio Nigeria for its innovative broadcasting and also appreciated the Amofin Beulah Movement and well-wishers who joined in the celebration. Amofin Adeoye further assured the public of his continuous commitment to humanitarian service through the Beulah Adeoye Foundation.
Among those present at the event were Mr. Ridwan Fasasi, Chief of Staff of the Foundation, who cheered the awardee; Hon. Aransi Wasiu, Coordinator of the Amofin Beulah Movement, who led other members of the team; and Mrs. Oyewole Remilekun Lydia, Women Coordinator of the Movement, who led the women’s wing to the occasion.
Also in attendance were Mrs. Wunmi Olaniyan, State Coordinator; Mrs. Adijat Taiwo Adesewa of Beauties Circle; and the 33 Local Government Coordinators of the Amofin Beulah Adeoye Movement.
