Days after the death of late Abdul-Wasiu Adegboyega Makanjuola Gboye-ibo, Oyo state People’s Democratic party and Hon Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 at Oyo State House of Assembly have donated N5,200,000 ( Five Million, Two Hundred Thousand Naira ) and N500,000 ( Five Hundred Thousand Naira ) to the family of Ibadan North late politician.
Oyo State PDP led by the State Chairman, Alh Kunmi Mustapha presented the cash to Mrs. Deborah Makanjuola and Mrs. Aminat Makanjuola the wives of the deceased yesterday at their Bodija residence in Ibadan, Oyo state.
It will be recall that, the family of late Gboye-ibo had earlier made a plea to the state government through the Oyo PDP State Secretary, Hon. Wasiu Adeleke during the 8th Day Fidau of the late political stalwart who died on Sunday, 27th of July, 2020. They pleaded with the Governor Of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde to give his support on employment and scholarship opportunities for the children of the deceased
Present at the home of late Gboye for the cash presentation are the State Secretary, Alh Wasiu Adeleke, State PRO, Engr Akeem Olatunji, State House of Assembly Member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, Hon Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, Caretaker Chairman of Aare Latosa LCDA, Hon Kazeem Oshoniyi, Hon Segun Olaleye Radical, Alh Azeez Salam, Hon Olajide Royal Umbrella, Mr Egalitarian Ishola Owolabi, Mr Shuaib Oladayo Agba Egbe and others.
