Oyo NNPP Mourns Olubadan, Commiserates With Oyo Govt, Family, Prince Aderoju, Ibadanland

Oyo state chapter of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP has described the passing of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr. Moshood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunade II, as unexpected, saying his fatherly role will be missed not only by the family.

The political party in a statement issued by the state acting chairman Mr. Sunday Adeosun said the late monarch will be missed for the peace that his reign witnessed in Ibadan and Oyo state.

Adeosun added that the late Olubadan was a highly respected monarch, who served the people of Ibadanland and Oyo state with passion and honor.

” Oyo NNPP sympathizes with Oyo state government, Alli-wo royal clan, and people of Ibadan over the death of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Moshood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunade II.

” Kabiesi’s death was unexpected but we are full of joy that, he departed after he had achieved his dreams.

“The NNPP family will continue to remember Oba Olelekan Balogun
for his ever-friendly comportment and the exceptional sense of duty and commitment with which he served as a representative lawmaker and royal father to the people of Oyo state and Ibadanland.

Thou, such an exceptional father will be missed but we prayed to almighty Allah to give the state government, the royal family, the people of Ibadan, and our 2023 Oyo Central senatorial candidate, Prince Ismaheel Aderoju the fortitude to bear the great loss.” Oyo NNPP stated
