The Forum of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State has commiserated with the lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adepoju Adebayo, fondly called *Ibarapakan*, over the death of his father, Pa Amos Ademola Adepoju.
Pa Adepoju, a respected elder and community leader, passed away in the early hours of Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the age of 89.
In a condolence message issued Thursday by the forum publicity secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo
on behalf of the forum described the late Adepoju as “a man whose life epitomized humility, service, and integrity.”
The chairmen noted that Pa Adepoju was a devoted Christian and highly respected figure in his community, whose legacy of selfless service would continue to inspire generations.
While sympathizing with Hon. Adepoju and his family, the forum urged them to take solace in the fact that their patriarch lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation.
They also prayed for strength, peace, and comfort for the bereaved family during this period of grief.
