Omititun 2.0 Campaign: Makinde’s Youth DG, Dikko Thanks Oke-Ogun For Warm Reception

As the 2023 general elections draw near, Governor Seyi Makinde’s campaign team recently toured the Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State.

The governor was greeted by thousands of party supporters, religious leaders, youths, teachers, pensioners, and market women.

The Director General of Youth Mobilization for Governor Makinde’s re-election campaign, Hon. Dr. Salami Ibraheem Oladeji (DIKKO), expressed his appreciation to the people of the area and expressed confidence that a significant number of votes will be delivered for the governor on March 11th, 2023.

During his visit to Olorunsogo local government, Governor Makinde discussed his plans for solid mineral Olorunsogo’son to further expand the economy of the state. He also acknowledged the efforts of a religious leader in promoting inter-faith affairs.

In Oorelope local government, Governor Makinde met with religious leaders, traditional worshippers, and traditional rulers. He reassured residents that the 45.3km Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho road rehabilitation would be completed during his tenure and promised to establish a campus of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education in the area once the university is fully settled.

In Saki East local government, Governor Makinde’s campaign rally visited several towns and communities, where he discussed his plans to extend the ongoing Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho road rehabilitation through Igbeti to Kisi, as well as the rehabilitation of the Agbonle to Ogbooro road. He also met with religious leaders, traditional worshippers, and traditional rulers.

Overall, Governor Makinde stated that his message to the people of Oyo State is that they have seen what has been accomplished under Omituntun 1.0, and Omituntun 2.0 will be an upgrade. Hon. Dikko, the Youth Mobilization Director General, expressed confidence that the masses will greatly benefit from Governor Makinde’s second term.
