Ogbomoso North NNPP Assembly Candidate, Onirese Gives Scholarships To 107 Indigents Students
The House of Assembly candidate in Ogbomoso North Local Government, Chief Dr. Ajagbe Paul Olukunle, through his Foundation is set to roll out another round of scholarships for 107 indigent students.
Chief Dr. Ajagbe, the convener, of Onirese Foundation came up with another mouthwatering scholarship program for 107 indigent students across Ogbomoso North State Constituency at Citi Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State.
In his words, Ajagbe opined that educating youth is one of the viable ways of eradicating poverty, indecency, thuggery, unproductiveness, and ignorance in society, adding that, the gesture is aimed at lifting the children of the less privileged in society, to make them achieve their future dreams with ease.
The NNPP chieftain in Ogbomoso North Local Government stressed that he is committed to empowering and lifting the downtrodden from the pinnacle of unproductiveness to viable status,
” The main reason for coming up with a Foundation is to help the less privileged and Onirese Foundation has been committed to philanthropic acts for decades. Our humanitarian gestures span through all facets of life such as artisan skills, education, and medical outreach”, Onirese stated.
The 107 beneficiaries of the scheme will study courses such as science-related courses, Art related courses, and others.
The Rector of the Citi Polytechnic, Dr. Femi Emmanuel commended the humanitarian gesture of the convener of Onirese Foundation for investing in humanities and prayed for the fulfillment of his political aspirations.
