New Year: DG Youth Mobilisation For Makinde’s Re-election Dikko Urges Youth To Be Patriotic, Ready For Election

The Director of Youth Mobilisation for Governor Seyi Makinde’s’s re-election bid, Hon Salami Oladeji (DIKKO) has felicitated with all the citizens of Oyo State on the New Year Celebration.

Hon Salami Oladeji (DIKKO) made this known today through the Chairman of his Media, Publicity, and Communication, Hon. Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez on the 1st of January, 2023 while addressing the newsmen in Ibadan.

He said the Youth Mobilisation Director joined fellow Nigerians and Pan-African change agents in the joyful celebrations of this season with the great hope of a Happy and prosperous 2023.

As the year 2022 recedes into history, like any other years in the past, we should thank Almighty God for the blessings and challenges of today, and the hope for a better and greater tomorrow.

We also appreciate and commend every citizen and noncitizenctive patriotic fellow compatriots of Oyo State and the teeming populace Nationwide for having faith in the leadership of Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde and for always supporting every effort and activity of Hon Salami Oladeji aimed at creating, and building a virile and active youth and in our determination to entrench growth and development in our dear state which always plays a forefront role in all our endeavors.

Also, we need to remind ourselves that this is an election year in which youths play a pivotal and significant role in the successful and otherwise conduct of the election. We urge our teeming youths to be an agent of positive change before, during, and after the election. And not to be allowed to be used as agents of destruction, evil, all kinds of malicious activities, and civil disorderliness by selfish political dealers.

Furthermore, we enjoined all newly registered voters to use this window of opportunity created by INEC to collect their PVCs at various INEC designated collection centers, so as not to be disenfranchised from voting during the election, and we must conduct ourselves pea and carefully, orderly, and responsibly and ensure we elect credible distinguished leaders at various elective positions without fear of any form of intimidation, fruit, ration, oppression, and financial inducement. A vote for Engr. (Dr.) Seyi Makinde is a vote for Sustainable Development Growth and Vision from Poverty to Prosperity.
