Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin, representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Tuesday, joined the race for the Oyo state governorship seat, promising residents improved security.
Folarin made his ambition official at the party secretariat, Oke-Ado, Ibadan in the presence of party faithful, supporters, and lovers who have been mobilized for the special event.
While appreciating the endurance and commitment of APC party members and leaders in Oyo state, Folarin urged everyone not to be distracted as he promised everything within his reach to liberate Oyo state from the shackles of the bad administration of governor Seyi Makinde come 2023.
Folarin lamented that the state is suffering from the hand of an inexperienced governor since 2019, and said it is time for APC and the people of Oyo state to take the bull by the horn and effect the change and correction that is needed.
Speaking about the defection of Engr. Joseph Tegbe from APC to PDP in the state, sen. Folarin explained that the defector ( Tegbe ) and the recipient ( gov. Makinde ) are nothing but inexperienced politicians.
” I don’t know why they are jubilating, they said they signed our striker to their midst, the said striker that they signed from us in APC and the chief recipient of the striker in PDP are both naive and inconsequential when it comes to politics and strategies.
