A member of the All Progressives Congress in Ibarapaland, Engineer Saheed Adeyemi Oladele (SAO) has reaffirmed his commitment to give support to the candidates of the All Progressives Congress in his federal constituency.
SAO explained that his party APC fielded credible candidates for the local government election in the state, which, makes it easy for the party and members to keep giving support for them towards the election.
While appreciating the leadership of the party for the success recorded in the Ibarapa local government election rally, he emphasized that the party will no doubt win the election in Ibarapa North and Central.
SAO in his statement also appealed to the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission to work with the rules and laws that guide the commission by making sure they work as an independent body for free and fair elections.
Speaking further, SAO tasked OYSIEC to work with the vision of the commission, which is to advance democracy at the grassroots for rapid socio-economic development in every nook and cranny of Oyo State.
He also commended the unrelenting effort of the security agencies especially in Ibarapaland, urged them to be vigilant on Saturday during the local government election seeks their extensive support to prosecute and arrest anybody who wants to disrupt the election process.
