Lagelu LG Agog As Makinde’s Aide, Olalekan, Former Lawmaker Aspirant, Obideji, PDP Party Chair Empower Youth, Women

One of Oyo state governor’s domestic aides, Mr. Salau Majeed Olalekan, an House of Assembly Aspirant, Mr. Babatubde Obideji, and People’s Democratic Party chairman of Lagelu local government Chief Femi Ifalowo
last Sunday empowered youth and women from various communities within the local government.

The event which was held at the party’s local secretariat was said to be a special one out of many that have been done at the local government.

Chief Femi Ifalowo, the PDP party chairman was said to be the initiator of the empowered program supported by Hon. Babatunde Obideji, former Lagelu state constituency aspirant, and Mr. Salau Majeed Olalekan an aide to governor Makinde.

Items distributed include grinding machines, hair dryers, hair clippers, and other vocational skills tools.

While addressing the press after the program, one of the organizers of the empowerment program, Babatunde Obideji
said, the gesture is to assist those people in need in their various businesses.

” This program is a joint effort, thou, initiated by our party chairman. When I was briefed, I quickly welcomed it, because it is a good idea and a way to support our people in their various businesses, this gesture is done outside politics.

Speaking further, he lauded the accommodating spirit of governor Makinde’s Aide, Mr. Lekan, and the local government chairman said, the success of the program sponsored by three people with the party showed that there is love and free association among members of the party.

” What we have done here today is symbolic and passes a lot of messages to other party members and opposition. It we came together to assist our people that are really in need”. Obideji said.

PDP leaders and stakeholders at the event included Lagelu L.G Secretary Hon. Olanrewaju Latino, Majeed Olalekan, Oyo Peoples Democratic Party women leader, Chief, Mrs. Wulemot Ibitoye, Chief. Benedict Akiika, Hon. Festus Alade, Hon. Obideji, Alhaja Gbamgbayan, Hon. Jerad among other party stakeholders.
