Just In : NANS Presidential Election – Oyo Candidate Losses To Ekiti
Oyo state candidate in the ongoing National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) election in Abuja, comrade Ladoja has lost to comrade ASEFON Sunday Dayo from Ekiti state.
Comrade Sunday Asefon was declared winner during the National Convention at Old Parade Ground in Abuja by the Convention Planing Committee.
Westerndailynews gathered that,
Asefon polled 155 votes to defeat Ladoja, who polled 100 votes as other contestants, Comrade Momodu polled 11 votes, Champion 2 votes and Alopay from Osun state polled just 7votes while invalid votes counted was 7.
Confirming this development, one of ASEFON staunch Supporter at the Convention, Comrade Freedom Siasia, said his candidate won the NANS presidential election and has been declared winner with 155 votes.
He said ASEFON is a Comrade who doesn’t stay asleep to win the president office of NANS.
ASEFON goes to every side of the country to liberate his campaign agenda with students and students leaders as at time of press, he is on the roadmap again, has gone to all the 36 States, FCT Abuja.”
