Residents and party faithful in Ward 08 of Ido Local Government Area have expressed appreciation following a cash empowerment initiative by the ward councillor and Deputy Leader of the Ido Legislative Council, Hon. Oyeyemi Kazeem Olawale.
The empowerment programme, which saw 40 beneficiaries receive financial support, was aimed at boosting grassroots participation and strengthening party structures within the ward.
Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Olawale reiterated his commitment to the welfare of constituents and the growth of the party at the grassroots level.
He noted that the initiative was part of ongoing efforts to support loyal party members and encourage broader engagement in party activities.
The councillor also used the opportunity to commend key party leaders for their guidance and support.
He specifically appreciated the Party Chairman, Alhaji Emiola Musibau Ema; Alhaji Yasau Alabanla; Tirimisiyu Jagamu; the Ward Chairman, Lukman Gbadamosi; and the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo.
According to him, their leadership and continued support have been instrumental in fostering unity and progress within the party in Ward 08 and across the local government.
Party leaders and beneficiaries who spoke at the event lauded Hon. Olawale for the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful in strengthening party loyalty and improving the welfare of members.
