Ido LG Re-elected State Assembly Member, Mabaje Thanks Makinde, Party Leaders, Appreciates CAN, Imams For Support
Recently re-elected Oyo state Assembly member from Ido local government, Hon. Mabaje Rasaq has sent a thank you message to the state governor, Seyi Makinde, and all party leaders in his constituency.
Mabaje, who was declared the winner of the March 18th state Assembly election held in Ido local government with a total number of 15,976 to defeat his closest rival from the All Progressives Congress APC with 9,516 votes after receiving his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday thanked Almighty God for another assurance of four years in office, thereafter mentioned governor Sayi Makinde and Ido PDP party chairman, leaders as God sent.
In his appreciation message, Mabaje recognized the overwhelming support of the Ido League of Imams, the Christian Association of Nigeria ( CAN ), the Ido Chapter, all traditional rulers headed by Onido of Ido, His Majesty Gbolagade Muritala Babalola. He also appreciated market Women and Artisans that all committed to his re-election bid.
” I thank Almighty God that made the re-election possible. The people’s governor, Seyi Makinde, and my party leaders in Ido local government starting from the party chairman, Alhaji Akinsola Ayuba, Mallam Muyili Yusuff, and other personalities, used to make my return to office possible.
” More so, my appreciation will be incomplete if I failed to acknowledge the DG, Campaign Council, Hon Fatai Adelakun, and his team, the unquantifiable support of Ido local government chairman’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Adeyanju Mustapha, he is not only a party man, he proved his worth as a reliable and trustworthy man, he was there when our party needed him, not only Hon. Adeojo’s CoS made the Omi-titan and Mabaje 2.0 possible, Bar. Fashina, the 10 ward collators, all party agents, and consistent party members deserved commendations, the victory is for us all’. Mabaje concluded.
The lawmaker who is about to complete his first term as the lawmaker said, his re-election is a challenge for him to deliver more projects to his constituents.
