The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hon. Adesina Adegbenga Israel, the Supervisory Councillor for Health, who passed away a few days ago after a brief illness.
In a statement issued on behalf of the political leadership, staff, and residents of the local government, Adeojo described the late councillor’s death as a painful and irreplaceable loss to the council and the wider Ido community.
He noted that Hon. Israel would be remembered for his unwavering dedication, loyal service, and significant contributions to the development of the local government, particularly in the health sector.
“We take solace in the Lord because he came, he saw, and he conquered. May God grant his family and the entire Ido Local Government family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the chairman stated.
According to a family announcement, the burial service for the late Supervisory Councillor is scheduled to hold today, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 12 noon. The service will take place at Ojerinde Community, Zone C, Blue House, Jiboye Bus Stop, along Omi Adio.
The late Adesina Adegbenga Israel is survived by family members, colleagues, and a community that continues to mourn his passing.
