Ido LG APM Holds Inaugural Stakeholders’ Meeting, Begins Member’s Mobilization Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Ido Local Government chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has held its first stakeholders’ meeting, with a call on ward chairmen and party leaders to intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The meeting, held under the leadership of the Ido Local Government APM Chairman, Mr Nasirudeen Oladokun, focused on strengthening the party structure, attracting new members, and ensuring the party’s success at all levels.

Addressing party stakeholders and leaders at the meeting, the party leadersĥip urged all to work towards the victory of Governor Seyi Makinde as President, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi as Governor of Oyo State, as well as achieving significant victories for the party’s candidates contesting for Senate, House of Representatives, House of Assembly, and other local government elective positions.

The APM leadership in Ido local government also called on interested members who wish to contest for elective positions, including executive chairmanship and councillorship positions, to indicate their interest within their respective wards and contribute positively to the unity, growth, and development of the party in Ido Local Government.

The meeting further emphasised the importance of voter participation, as members of the party and residents of Ido Local Government were encouraged to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and take advantage of the ongoing registration opportunities to prepare for the electoral process.

The inaugural stakeholders’ meeting was attended by prominent party leaders and members, including Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajigbotolohun, State Ex-Officio; Mrs Elizabeth Oladoye (Aliya Pupaupa), Leader; Mrs Adelolu Funmilayo, Leader; Hon. Adebayo Moyo; Prince Adetayo Rotimi, APM Ido Local Government Secretary; Hon. Folorunsho Oluwabukola Abiodun, Southwest Zonal APM Public Relations Officer; Mr Abimbola Akande, Leader; ward chairmen and other principal officers of the party.

The party leadership expressed confidence that the renewed commitment of members and stakeholders would strengthen the APM’s presence in Ido Local Government and contribute to its electoral success.
