Ibadan-born Olumide Olajide Becomes Professor At University Of Ibadan
Mr. Olumide Ephraim OLAJIDE of
Department of Adult Education, University of Ibadan has been announced as Professor of community development.
Westerdailynews gathered that, the Governing Council of the University of Ibadan approved the professorship of Ephraim OLAJIDE.
Until his appointment, OLAJIDE
who holds B.Ed.(Hons), M.Ed, PhD at the same University was a senior lecturer at the Department of Adult Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan.
The new professor, who has been working as a University lecturer
for over twenty years has a unique opportunity and exceptional privilege of being well grounded in global practices in community development, Labour matters / Negotiation skills and in the theories and practice of Community Mobilisation and Development, Human Resource Development, Income Generation and Non-Formal Education.
His professional experiences and position includes : Sub-Dean Undergraduate, Faculty of Education, Community Facilitator,
Lecturing/Research and Community Services and also Deputy Coordinator, Distance Learning Programme at the Department of Adult Education all under University of Ibadan.
