Ib’ North PDP Campaign Rally Spectacular, We’ll Dash Opposition’s Winning Hopes Come Feb. 17 – Oyo Lawmaker, Folajimi
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North local government constituency 1 at Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Oyekunle Folajimi ‘DON’ on Wednesday said the political activities of opposition parties and the hope to win an election in Ibadan North local government will be destroyed before the February 25 presidential elections.
Hon. Folajimi spoke with the press after the official flag-off of the campaign rally held for all PDP candidates in Ibadan North local government, organized by the party Central Campaign Council.
The lawmaker who commended the party leaders and stakeholders for the successful rally said, the massive turnout of the party supporters and residents has sent a jittery message to the opposition parties in the local government.
He added that opposition parties have no choice but to accept defeat on February 17, the day, governor Seyi will visit the local government for his re-election bid.
” I was overwhelmed with the crowd and support given to our party today during the campaign walk rally or showed PDP is everywhere in Ibadan North.
” The name, Seyi Makinde is on the tongue of every household and this is a plus for our party, all our candidates are credible, sellable
, and acceptable with what I have been today at the rally, all our political neighbors should just accept defeat and go and start preparation for 2027 politicking, I am believed the political heat will be too much for them to bear by February 17, when the governor Seyi Makinde will be around for his re-election campaign.
Folajimi, who is also the campaign director general for the election campaign of governor Makinde in Ibadan North local government while commending the party leaders, stakeholders and residents for their resilience and continued support for governor Seyi Makinde’s administration implored all to vote for all other PDP candidates from the presidency to state assembly.
” Governor Makinde has done excellently well for re-election, his selfless service had made him untouchable, with that, I want us all to work as a team not to deliver only governor Makinde but other candidates of our patty too, with Alhaji Atiku as elected president, Makinde as governor, Joseph Tegbe, Lanre Sarumi as national lawmakers, then we already got a government of our dream, Folajimi started.
He also urged the party members to make sure they work for the election victory of the assembly lawmakers.
