Folajimi DON Eulogizes Makinde For Dishing Out Buses, Approval Of Bursary For Tertiary School Students
The deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo state governor, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle has expressed admiration for his principal’s leadership style and significant efforts at encouraging and making sure students in the Oyo State get all the necessary support to ease their learning.
Folajimi conveyed his appreciation while having a chat with journalists in Ibadan just after the presentation of the 28 buses to indigenous associations and institutions in Oyo state and the announcement of bursary payments to students in the state.
He commended the govenror for fulfilling his promise to the student bodies, stating that the governor’s presentation of 28 buses was historic and unprecedented.
“Governor Makinde understands the plight of the Nigerian students, considering the present economy of the country, he has once again displayed his fatherly role toward the students, coupled with the immediate approval of student bursary to indigenous students in the state”.
“Aside from the fact that Governor Makinde approved student bursary, he has also begun the disbursement of the Omituntun bursary, which has always been funded personally by His Excellency also”.
“We deeply appreciate his efforts on promise keeping, his consistency, over the years in ensuring Oyo State is always on the map”. He said.
