Electric Bus Initiative: Ibadan Elders, Council of Obas Visit Jubril Dotun Sanusi

 

Some revered Ibadan elders, the Ona Ara Council of Obas and members of Ona Ara Development Forum on Thursday visited Ilaji Resort, to inspect the groundbreaking Electric Bus initiative, pioneered by Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.

The Ibadan-born philanthropist, two weeks ago became the first man to roll out an electric bus in Oyo State.

Led by the revered Asiwaju of Ibadanland, Chief Jacob Olabode Amoo, former CCII President, Chief Bayo Oyero, and President of the Ona Ara Development Forum, Alhaji Kola Bolomope and Ona Ara Council of Obas, the august visitors commended him for his service to humanity and how he is projecting the image of Ibadan in the global space .

The team wich also used the opportunity to inspect the groundbreaking Electric Bus initiative, pioneered by Engineer Jubril Dotun assured him of their unflinching support for any course or projects he embarks on

Speaking on their visits, Engineer Sanusi said:

“Their commendations and support for our visionary initiative in introducing the first Electric Bus in Oyo State mean the world to me.

” This innovative project, powered by renewable energy, marks a significant step forward in our commitment to environmental sustainability and progress in the transportation sector.

“I am deeply grateful for the encouragement and recognition from our elders in Ibadanland, the Ona Ara Development Forum and the entire community.

“Together, we will continue to drive progress and sustainable development in Oyo State.”
