Desist From Campaign Of Calumny Against Makinde, Iseyin South Political Head, FM Cautions Opposition
The Political Head, Iseyin South, Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Fasasi Raheem Ajibola popularly known as ‘FM’ has enjoined those who are hell bent on orchestration of campaign of calumny and religious sentiment to denigrate the person of Governor Seyi Makinde over the next gubernatorial election, to desist from such act.
FM made this admonition in a release he personally signed and made available to journalists.
Iseyin-born politician stressed that, it had come to his knowledge and understanding that some people are hell bent on perpetration of campaign of calumny, religious sentiment and character assassination statements with a view to unfairly criticizing the person of Governor Seyi Makinde over the next gubernatorial election in Oyo State.
The Political Head, Iseyin South LCDA, added that, those who are doing this are complete enemies of pacesetter state, who do not want the good works of Governor Makinde to continue after May 29, 2023.
FM said, Makinde remains a devout Christian who believes in fairness, equity and justice in administering good governance and allocation of goodies and democratic dividends to all regardless of any dichotomy.
He added that, his assumption of office as the current Governor of Oyo State had orchestrated developmental changes in education, health, agriculture, infrastructures, security and road network among others.
According to him, “those engaged in campaign of calumny, religious bigotry are doing so for their self benefits. Seyi Makinde is Christian but a God fearing leader that believes in equity, fairness and Justice.
“The Good people of Oyo state should ignore the agents of darkness who don’t tell us the manifestos of their pay master,Teslim Folarin but singing the son of religion to mislead the good people of Oyo state.
“We know them and the Lord Almighty will reward them accordingly in consonance with their intentions. Unfortunately, most of them are party to maladministration of APC in Oyo state for complete eight(8) years when the good people of Oyo state were wallowing in abject poverty while they had never for once commented against such administration.
“The Good people of Oyo state should ignore them and vote for the progress of our dear state and Oke Ogun as a zone at the Gubernatorial and State Assembly election slated for March 11, 2023”, FM concluded.
