APC Initiative Commends Ibarapa Residents, Students for Calmness, Seeks For Peace Over Protest
An APC Initiative in Ibarapaland has encouraged residents, especially youth and students, to continue to embrace peace instead of protesting against the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Ibarapa APC Initiative in a released statement signed by Hon. (Engr.) Azeez Adeoye as coordinator, called on the #EndBadGovernance# protesters in Oyo state and across the nation to embrace peace and dialogue with the government instead of the ongoing destructive protest for the country NIGERIA to move Forward.
In the released statement, the group
appreciated the people of Ibarapaland, both the Indigenes and residents, for embracing peace instead of protesting against the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Statement reads:
” The APC Initiative in Ibarapaland appreciates all residents, especially
students, youth, traders, artisans, and religious groups in Ibarapaland for their understanding and support for the Federal Government.
” We believe the ways to move the country forward, like any other developed nation, are the steps being taken by the Federal Government which were abandoned by the previous administrations.
” We believe the grievances and demands of the organizers of the protest have been noted, and governments at all levels are not folding arms but finding solutions to them.
” We believes that, president Tinubu is trying all it takes with various populist policies that will move Nigeria forward to the level we all expected. The government is taking steps to mitigate the challenges of food shortage as well as security issues which are major in the demands of these protesters.
We, therefore, appeal to the leaders of the protesters to give the president more time to fix and repair things that had been damaged for so many years. President Tinubu knows the suffering of the citizens and he is trying hard to tackle the challenges as soon as possible.
The Ibarapa APC Initiative, in its statement, also praised and commended various law enforcement agents in the country for conducting themselves professionally in the maintenance of law and order.
