Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, the executive chairman of Ibadan Northeast local government has appreciated all people of his council for finding it worthy to re-elect him for a second term.
In his appreciation message issued on Sunday after he was declared winner by Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, Akintayo said, he will capitalize on the trust his people had in him and will continue to deliver dividend democracy to their doorsteps.
“I thank everyone in Ibadan Northeast for the fresh mandate, thank you all for placing your trust and confidence in my abilities.
” I thank all who voted for me, those who did not vote for me, and those who did not vote at all, I promise to serve all of you better.
” I know it is a significant commitment, but I am prepared to contribute
along with the newly elected and returning councillors to build upon
the successes of our first term administration and to fulfill our mission to support, promote, and protect the interest of the people of Ibadan Northeast local government,” Akintayo said.
