An absentee during the governor Seyi Makinde’s inauguration of Oyo State governor’s Advisory Council, ZLP governorship candidate Barr. Sharafadeen Alli is said to have signalled to the governor of his readiness to be sworn in as a member of the just inaugurated council.
Earlier, Westerndailynews reported the absence of the for SSG during the inauguration of Oyo Advisory Council which was held on June 21st, 2019 at government secretariat, Ibadan.
In a reported conversation, Sharafadeen Abiodun gave a commitment outside the state as reason for his absence.
“I have been in Abuja for the past two days. In fact, I went in the same flight as the governor. I had a programme there. I just got to Lagos and will be coming to Ibadan now. And that was why I was absent,” Alli said.
Aside Barr. Sharafadeen Abiodun, one Mr Joseph Olaitan was also absent, Sen. Hosea Agboola ( PDP chieftain ), Sen Monsurat Sumonu ( ADC unity group ), Hon. Kamil Akinlabi ( ADP ), Bolaji Ayorinye SAN ( SDP governorship candidate ) Rt. Hon. Mulikat Akande ( PDP chieftain ) Chief Jacob Adetoro ( PDP ), Chief Gboyega Laoye ( ADC ) and Professor Kolapo Hamzat was present to show their acceptance and commitment.
Effort to reach the Oyo state governor Chief Press Secretary Mr Taiwo Adisa to confirm when and time the ZLP chieftain will be sworn in was not successful.
