Memorial: Family, Associates Hold 3rd Remembrance Prayer For Late Ambali
Family, friends, and political associates on Sunday held a 3rd-year special prayer for former Oyo state commissioner for Agriculture, late Hon. Iyiola Ambali Hammed, who died on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

The event was held at Ambali Iyiola Complex, Bank Bus-stop, Moniya Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
In his sermon, Alhaji Abud Gafar Oyo
Reflected on Hon. Ambali’s life, his impactful contributions, exemplary character, and political participation.
According to him, “Hon. Iyiola Ambali undoubtedly lived an extraordinary life that serves as an inspiration for all, said he will forever hold a special place in people’s heart.”
Alhaji Abdul Gafar Oyo urged family, friends, and associates of the late Ambali to continue in their effort to remember him in prayer. He said the former commissioner, who served God with fear and passion despite being a politician, deserved prayer after death.

On his part, the former deputy state chairman of Oyo state APC, Alhaji Isiaka Alimi acknowledged late Ambali’s good deeds, says, late Ambali’s contribution to the development of Akinyele local government and Oyo state through his party, APC can’t not be forgotten.
Also eulogizing former state assembly lawmaker, Hon. Adigun Hammed Murphy said the late Ambali, who was a former Oyo State House of Assembly lawmaker (1999-2003);, Chairman, Care-taker Committee, Akinyele Local Government (2011-2012) and state commissioner during the tenure of late Ajimobi, left behind a good legacy in politics and personal life, added that, the late former commissioner championed his easy beginning in politics.

Murphy expressed gratitude to the Islamic scholars, dignitaries, political associates, and well-wishers who attended the pray for the soul of Hon. Ambali.
He then prayed that Almighty God to grants Hon. Ambali eternal rest and upholds the family he left behind.
Moreso, the Federal House of Rep Accord candidate from Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in the last election, Hon Phillips Olasupo (Kasupo), who has supported the yearly remembrance prayer, urged the family, friends and his political followers to continue to take solace in God over the demise of the great man, said, Hon. Iyiola Ambali Hammed’s political legacy will continue to impact local, state and national politics for a long time to come.
At the program, family, friends and political associates in their love for the late Hon. Ambali, donated cash to sponsor the NECO exam of an indigent student.
Also at the 3rd year remembrance of Hon. Iyiola Ambali Hammed were the former vice chairman of Akinyele local government Alhaji Lateef Mustapha, former vice Chairman Akinyele local government Honorable Maruff Akinlabi, and other important dignitaries.
