Gov. Fayemi Forced Retirement of Permanent Secretary in Ekiti Over Fraud
The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has approved the immediate retirement of the Permanent Secretary, Office of Establishments and Training in the state’s civil service, Olusesan Alabi.
This was contained in a statement on Monday by Fayemi’s Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode.
The statement directed Alabi to hand over to the most senior officer in the office.
Sources told westerndailynews that Alabi was sacked over the release of employment letters to those the immediate past Administration of former Governor Ayo Fayose directed should be employed.
Westerndailynews gathered that as at Monday (today), Alabi still issued letters of employment to some of the candidates interviewed for employment in the closing days of the Fayose Administration.
Fayemi had after his inauguration on Tuesday met with the leadership of the Ekiti State Civil Service on Wednesday, where he warned against further recruitment
