Oyo TESCOM Exam To Hold In August

Applicants who had applied for Oyo State Post-Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission during the recruitment exercise have been told to wait till August for the screening examination.

The much waited examination was shifted to August this year as a result of coronavirus pandemic.

The chairman of Oyo TESCOM, Pastor Alamu why speaking on a radio program in Ibadan on Thursday, said, the screening exercise should have been concluded few months ago, but activities on the process was stopped due to the spread of the coronavirus.

” we had gotten the approval from state governor around march to do the screen through Computer Base Test, but we have to pend all activities because of the pandemic, also, we are fixing the issue of errors made by applicants and by August we will hold a the CBT for all qualified applicants.

TESCOM boss said about 126,000 candidates applied for the job but only 70,000 to 80,000 candidates for teaching job are qualified to write the examination.

He noted that, non teaching applicants will be shortlisted without examination.
