Oyo New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) governorship candidate, Engr. Popoola Olukayode Joshua (POJ) on Sunday celebrates Ex-Oyo Governor, Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Adewolu Rasheed Ladoja on the occasion of his 78th birthday and prays for his long life.
Popoola’s birthday message to High Chief Ladoja was reflected in a statement personally signed and released to the press in Ibadan.
In a birthday message, Popoola, the Mogaji Ile Eweena’s compound expressed his admiration for Ladoja’s “public spiritedness, energy and zeal” in politics and especially his steadfastness in safeguarding the norms and culture relating to the Ibadan chieftaincy title.
“Aside been a respected High chief of Ibadanland, Baba Ladoja is an elder statesman, he had outstandingly served Oyo state; his passion for peace as the foundation of development inspires many, including myself.
Chief Ladoja is our father, a special day like this, for him means so much to us, he has done everything for us and the state. He is a role model for others to copy. We pray for his long life,” POJ started.
