The Association of Local Government of Nigeria, (ALGON) Oyo State, through its Public Relations Officer, Hon Yusuff Sahib Oladayo mourns the demise of Oyo lawmaker, Olusegun Popoola representing Ibadan Southeast Constituency 2 in Ibadan Southeast Local Government in Oyo State.
Popson, has fondly called would have turned 46 years in three days, died at the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital of a kidney-related ailment
Olusegun Popoola was the honorable Representing Ibadan Southeast Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly
According to Oyo ALGON, his death is a rude shock and a great loss to Ibadan Southeast Local Government in particular and Oyo state as a whole.
“We commiserate with Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire Popoola family over the loss,” the PRO said.
We prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest in His bosom.
“The death of our brother is devastating, especially within this period that his service is needed most.
“We have lost a gem, gentleman, decent politician who has given his all to God and Humanity, and we pray that his soul rest in peace
