Oyo Health Ministry, UI College of Medicine Seek Strategic Collaboration on Training and Research
In a significant move to strengthen healthcare delivery in Oyo State, the State Ministry of Health today held a synergy meeting with the Management of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
The delegation, led by the Provost of the College, Professor T. O. Ogundiran, sought strategic collaboration with the Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Health.
The proposed partnership is anchored on the institution’s tripod mandate of teaching and training, research, and community service.
Responding on behalf of the state government, the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, expressed the government’s willingness and readiness to collaborate with the institution in all areas, including manpower development, research, and training, for the overall benefit of the people of Oyo State.
