A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Mustapha Khalil Repete, has congratulated former First Lady of the state, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, on her nomination as an ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mrs. Ajimobi was listed among the 32 ambassadorial nominees forwarded to the Senate for screening and confirmation. The specific diplomatic postings are expected to be announced after the confirmation process.
In his congratulatory message, Repete described the nomination as a well-deserved reward for Mrs. Ajimobi’s unwavering commitment to the unity and advancement of the APC both in Oyo State and at the national level.
He praised the former First Lady as “a brave and courageous woman who continues to invest her energy in the growth and progress of the APC in Oyo State.” According to him, Mrs. Ajimobi embodies excellence and serves as a worthy role model to younger generations.
Repete further noted that her political experience, integrity, and long-standing contributions to the party make her a fitting choice for national representation. “She truly merits the appointment,” he affirmed.
