Moslem Grammar School Old Students To Raise 100m For Alma Mater

The Old Moslem Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan, has launched a Hundred Million naira fundraising for the development of their Alma mater.

 

The fundraising was declared opened by the Chief launcher, Engineer Mutiu Owolabi Adebowale, during the school’s old student annual general meeting, which was held within the school premises last Sunday.

 

The event which witnessed the

inauguration of the association’s new executive members brought together old schoolmates and rekindled friendships.

It underscored the alumni association’s commitment to ensuring the lasting growth and development of Moslem Grammar School.

 

Moslem Grammar School’s annual general meeting event also featured the commissioning of a renovated

two renovated five-classroom buildings, fully funded by the 1983 and 2002 graduating sets, an initiative said to be part of their contribution to the school’s infrastructure development.

 

In his address, the chairman of the occasion, Professor Yahaya Imam, acknowledged the dedication and resilience of the school association members, underscoring the significance of collective efforts in strengthening the development of their Alma Mater.

 

The 100 million Naira old student’s

fundraising Chief launcher, Engineer Mutiu Owolabi Adebowale, in his capacity, donated a donation of one million Naira to kickstart the money raising and urged all individuals who had passed through the school to join him in the transformative agenda designed for their Alma Mater.

 

While ushering the new executives of the association, which has Rotarian Otunba Olalekan Lukman as president, the outgoing president, Alhaji Mojeed Adeleke, expressed gratitude to all members of the Muslim Grammar school’s old school association for their support, noting that their contributions were essential to his administration success.

The event featured vibrant entertainment, including a live band, cultural displays from students, Quranic recitations, and more.

 

Prominent attendees included Engr. Mutiu Adebowale, Chairman of 1st August Nigeria Limited; Prof. Yahaya Imam, chairman of the event; Chief Barrister Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole, President of CCII; Alhaji Nureni, Chairman of Oyo SUBEB; and many others.
