The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims in the council area as they join other faithful across the world to commemorate the Maulud Nabiyy celebration.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Adeojo wished the Muslim community a joyous and blessed celebration, praying for peace, unity, and prosperity in Ido Local Government as the Islamic New Year begins.
He urged Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the exemplary life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly the values of compassion, kindness, and service to humanity.
The council boss expressed appreciation to the Muslim community for their continuous support and cooperation with his administration, pledging that his government would remain steadfast in its commitment to the welfare and development of all residents of Ido Local Government.
