A chieftain of a political party in Oyo State, Dr. Olamide Balikis Junaid, has officially declared her intention to contest the House of Representatives seat for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, pledging quality representation and improved democratic dividends for the people.
Junaid made the declaration at the Yemetu Police Barracks Field in Ibadan North, where a large crowd of supporters, party members, and residents gathered to witness the event.
The declaration, which attracted thousands of attendees, was marked by a vibrant show of support, as the venue was filled with enthusiastic constituents expressing confidence in her candidacy.
Addressing the crowd, Junaid said it was time for the people of Ibadan North to enjoy the true dividends of democracy through purposeful and people-oriented representation.
