Covid-19 : Makinde Bans Religious Services, Weddings, Parties, Burial, Limited Gatherings To 30 Persons

Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday announced a ban on gatherings such as religious services, weddings, parties, burial ceremonies, limited gatherings to 30 persons or less

As measures is said to be reviewed in two weeks, all Nightclubs remain closed, Makinde said, gatherings should be limited to 30 persons or less, claimed a reduction in the number of people allowed in public gatherings is to prevent further spread of coronavirus.

Governor Makinde said the number of people allowed at any public gathering should not be more than 30, including in churches and mosques.

” I want to make it clear that I understand how this pandemic will affect us socially, economically and spiritually, but these are the sacrifices we need to make to preserve and protect our loved ones”. Makinde added.
