Conference of Local Govt Information Officers Congratulates Adeola Oduola, Six Other New Permanent Secretaries
The Conference of Local Government Information Officers (COLGIO) has congratulated Pastor Oduola Adeola Omoyeni and six other newly appointed permanent secretaries from the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission on their elevation to the position of Permanent secretaries.
The conference, in a release issued by the assistant secretary, comrade Bonuola Sabir, said the Conference is proud to identify with our boss, Pastor Oduola Adeola for passing all the prescribed exams to be victorious and emerged as a permanent secretary.
The assistant secretary, on behalf of the Conference chairman, comrade Bello Ademola Jeleel said pastor Oduola had set a standard for those coming behind that the information officer cadre is not inferior to other cadres to have emerged as a permanent secretary out of the seven slots from the Local Government Service.
He asserted that the performance of pastor Oduola has further laid credence to the fact the information Officers’ carde that produced Pastor Adeola is riped to be independent as a department in the local government service.
The conference scribe, therefore, used the forum to appeal to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde please see to the need to assent the Bill on the creation of the Department of Information and Public Relations in the Oyo state local government service as recently approved by his counterpart in Osun state.
