Akintayo Honors Late Pa Oladiti, Supports CAN IBNE Members with Lenten Gifts


The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as “O MU YES,” has paid a condolence visit to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ibadan North East local government Chapter, following the passing of Pa Oladiti.
During the visit, Hon. Akintayo described the late Pa Oladiti as a humble, respectful, and devoted Christian who lived a life marked by unwavering faith and selfless service to God and humanity. He noted that the deceased left behind a legacy rooted in integrity and commitment to Christian values, urging members of the association to uphold and sustain his good works.

The Chairman also used the occasion to advise members to prioritize their health through regular medical check-ups, emphasizing that good health remains essential for effective service in God’s vineyard and meaningful contributions to community development. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their faith and continue advancing the work of God, particularly during the sacred Lenten season.
As a demonstration of compassion and solidarity, Hon. Akintayo distributed Lenten packages to members of the association to support them throughout the ongoing fasting period.
In their response, leaders and members of the CAN IBNE Chapter expressed appreciation for the Chairman’s thoughtful gesture and consistent support for religious bodies within the local government. They offered prayers for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success in his administration.
