Former Governor Seyi Makinde’s aide,
Kolawole Elijah Akanmu has expressed deep appreciation to the Governor, for reappointing him as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
In a thank-you message made available to journalists in Ibadan on Monday evening, Akanmu described the reappointment as a renewed call to service and a vote of confidence in his capacity and commitment to the development agenda of the Makinde-led administration.
He pledged to continue supporting policies and programmes aimed at strengthening economic planning, fiscal discipline, and sustainable development in the state.
Akanmu, who hails from Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, previously served in the same capacity during the governor’s first-term administration, where he contributed to budget formulation and economic planning processes.
He assured the governor and the people of Oyo State of his continued loyalty, diligence, and dedication to delivering people-oriented outcomes in line with the administration’s vision.
The reappointment of Akanmu is seen by political observers as a recognition of his experience and contributions to the state’s budgeting and economic planning framework.
