Lawmaker representing Ireopo/Olorunsogo state constituency,
Hon. Qoseem Olayanju (Orelope) has congratulated the Muslim brethren on this year’s Eld ah-Adha celebration.
Hon. Olayanju in a special Eid message, reassured his constituents of dividends of good governance, adding that the current administration of Governor Seyi Makinde was determined to ensure dividends of democracy get to every part of the state.
The lawmaker, representing Irepo/Olorunshogo constituency also appealed to the Muslims to use this moment of celebration to pray for the sustaining peace and prosperity of the state and the country at large.
The marble city lawmaker however urged them to make use of the lessons of patience and perseverance, which led to the annual celebration today.
Hon. Olayanju, who had earlier extended good gestures to party leaders and stalwarts, said various developmental programmes were in pipeline to improve the economic status of the constituency.
He had his Eid prayer at the Central Praying Ground in Igbeti, along side prominent sons and daughters of the town.
