Following the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde progressive move for effective and efficient government appointments into boards, agencies and others in the pace setter State, has announced his intent to constituted 8-man steering committee to oversee the affairs.
According to him, the Seven (7) committee will be ahead responsible for coordinating the appointment of members into state boards, agencies and other positions.
Members of the committee composed of representatives from each of the Seven Geo-political zones in the State namely; Ibadan main city, Ibadan Less city, Oke-Ogun 1 and 2, Ibarapa, Ogbomoso and Oyo Zone respectively.
Below are the members of the committee;
1. Chairman: Senator Hosea Agboola

2. Secretary: Miss Lolade Ajibola
3. Hon Babs Oduyoye (Ibadan I)
4. Hon Busari Olayemi (Ibadan II)
5. Hon Funmilayo Orisadeyi (barapa
Zone)
6. Chief Oyebisi llaka (oyo Zone)
7. Hon Oyeleke (Ogbomoso Zone
8. Hon Rafiu Adekunle (Oke-ogun 2)
The Governor emphasized that the appointment of this committee is effective immediately, showcasing the urgency and important of the matter. With this move, Governor Makinde aims to ensure a more structured and efficient process for board appointment in Oyo State.
