Eid-el-Maulud: Oyo Assembly Member, Ogunsola Tasks Muslims On Cooperation, Respect For One another
A member of Oyo State House of Assembly for Iwajowa State Constituency, Hon Anthony Ogunsola has tasked Muslims on purpose for cooperation and respect for one another.
This is contained in a statement on Eid-el-Maulud 2023 signed by him and made available to news men.
Ayetoro ile-born lawmaker asked the Muslim ummah to use the current period of Eid-el-Mahmud 2023 equivalent to 12 Rabi-al-Awwal 1445 to ensure cooperation and respect for one another, in order to move the society forward.
The Parliamentarian who is also the Chairman, Oyo Assembly Committee on Solid Minerals said, cooperating, living and respect for one another would not only bring mutual understanding but also facilitating uncommon blessings.
He maintained that, Holy Prophet Muhammad(Peace be on him) had during his life time preached cooperation, love and respect for one another.
He said, these virtues as exhibited by Prophet Muhammad should be inculcated by all adherents of Islam and other religious divides.
Ogunsola asked them to use the current commemoration of the Prophet’s birth to pray for peace, unity of Nigeria, betterment of Oyo State and success of leaders across political divides.
In another vein, Ogunsola promised to show more commitment to purpose of his election to Oyo State House of Assembly.
He maintained that he would not fail on effective representation, sponsorship of notable bills/motions and good approach to oversight functions.
