The National Working Committee of New Nigeria People”a Party NNPP has affirmed the suspension of Oyo state chairman, Sesan Adegbola.
Westerndailynews.com yesterday reported that, the Oyo state working committee of NNPP suspended its state chairman, Sesan Adegbola over alleged anti party activities and misappropriation of fund.
Few after after the vote of no confidence and suspension of Adegbola, the National Working committee of the party during their meeting on Abuja ratified the suspension, asked Adegbola to stay away from the party activities for 6 months pending further investigations.
NNPP national working committee resolution in a letter signed by its national secretary, Dipo Olayokun reads:
6(SIX) MONTHS SUSPENSION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY
I write to inform you that at the meeting of the National Working Committee of
our party held today 7August 2023 it was reslved, in accordance with Articde
39.6 (0) and other relevant sections/articles of our constitution, that you and some of your recent activities be investigated by the party.
You are also suspended from the party for 6 months, pending the outcome of the completion of the investigation of your activities and your appearance and right of defence before the Disciplinary Committee of the National Level of the party.
I humbly urge that you participate in the investigative and disciplinary process as
it is your right to be heard, as enshrined in our party’s constitution.
