Adelabu Visits Oke Ogun, commiserates With Moses Alake, Party Leaders Over Ajimobi’s Death, Sued For Peace

Oyo state All Progressive Congress gubernatorial candidate in last election, Chief Bayo Adelabu on Tuesday went to Oke Ogun to commiserate the death of late Abiola Ajimobi with ex deputy governor, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo and party leaders.

Chief Bayo Adelabu, visit to Oke Ogun less than a month after Ajimobi burial was said to be a move to empathize with progressive family in Oke Okun on the demise the state party leader and a step to reaffirm his support for the party.

While at the residence of ex deputy governor, Adelabu sympathised with Adeyemo on the loss of his immediate boss, urged him forge ahead on the progressive steps he and late Ajimobi had laid for the party.

As Adelabu met with other party leaders, he implored all to continue to pray for late Ajimobi, said he had contributed immensely not only to state politics but his absence at national will be felt.

Adelabu played down a rumour going viral that, the death of Ajimobi will cause more than damage to the party before and during the 2023 general election. He said, late Ajimobi as peace lover had set a standard for a mutual relationship within the progressive circle in the state.

He called on Oke Ogun party leaders to remain unity, sued for peace within the party as he promised to be giving necessary support for the leadership of the party every time when needed.

Politicians that went with Chief Bayo Adelabu to Oke Ogun includes : ALGON Chairman, Prince Abass Aleshinloye, Hon. Wale Murphy, Hon. Ariba, Hon. Hammed Ambali, Alh. Wale Sanusi and others.
