The Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial district, Oloye Teslim Folarin, mourns the passing away of ex State Chairman of defunct Action Congress (AC), defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Pa Samuel Farinu.
In a condolence statement made available to journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity – Com. YSO Olaniyi, Oloye Folarin conveyed his heartfelt condolences to late Pa Farinu’s families, people of the ancient town of Oyo and the APC family.
Part of the statement reads: “As we mourn the passing away of our great leader, I urge the APC family worldwide and the immediate family of our Papa to be comforted by the knowledge that the late Farinu lived a very fulfilled and accomplished life”.
“Papa was extremely loyal, committed, dedicated and thoroughbred progressive. By his demise, another vacuum has been created in the rank and file of the Progressives family in Nigeria”.
“So sad that his departure comes at a time when Oyo APC would need his wealth of knowledge as an elder statesman in our reconciliation agenda” Senator lamented.
He prayed that God Almighty would grant his soul eternal rest in Paradise.
